Pe and Technology teacher

Full-time elementary school teacher for PE and technology

Reports directly to principal

 There is potential for extra duty pay assisting with tech liaison duties

 St. John the Baptist School is seeking qualified applicants for a combination Physical Education and Technology teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The teacher will work daily in a Catholic faith-filled teaching environment focused on the development of the whole student — intellectually, spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially.

 Job Functions:

·        Teach PreK-8th grade physical education and k-8 technology, may include a section of junior high math

·        Employ a variety of teaching models to engage different learning styles and ability levels.

·        Prepare motivating and stimulating lessons that reflect knowledge of the curriculum, instructional strategies, and student abilities.

·        Update curriculum and materials as needed.

Qualifications:

• Elementary education certification
• Possess a Nebraska teaching certificate
• Practicing Catholic preferred
• Complete safe environment training and background check
