Speech/Language Pathologist

Southern Valley Public Schools is accepting applications for a second Speech Language Pathologist. This position will be enhancing our already established program as you will be the second SLP in district and joining a skilled special education department. We offer the opportunity to work with students from birth to 21, and are progressive in our partnership with technology. Additionally, roles and responsibilities include:
  • Prevention of speech and language delays through intervention development
  • Evaluating students and teaming for determination of services
  • Designing programs that are specific to each student’s needs through IEP development
  • Providing therapy, collecting data, and monitoring progress in school and home settings
  • Collaboration with other skilled professionals, families, and students to help support speech and language competencies
