Jr High/High School Special Education Teacher

Southern Public School District is accepting applications for a 7-12 Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.  Applicants must hold or be able to obtain a valid teaching certificate with the appropriate endorsement.

The 7-12 Special Education Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing IEP’s, case management and supporting students as well as general education teachers.

  • Base Salary for 2026-2027 – $41,500
  • Start date August 2026 with a 182 day contract
