Buildings and Grounds Coordinator

The Buildings and Grounds Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient and well-maintained physical environment of the District. The position involves overseeing the maintenance, cleanliness and security of all school buildings and outdoor spaces. The position will collaborate with various departments, contractors and vendors to uphold high standards of facility management, contributing to the overall success of the educational environment. Supervision is exercised over Custodians and Grounds and Maintenance Personnel.


  • Associates/Technical degree preferred. Potential candidates should possess considerable experience in facilities maintenance, HVAC, construction or a related field and possess moderate experience in facilities management.
  • Candidate work experience including a minimum of two years in a supervisory capacity is desired.
  • Any other combination of education and/or experience which would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities may be considered.
  • Valid Driver License.

The successful candidate will have a strong background related to the position, possess excellent oral/written communication skills. District residency required.   Anticipated start date is flexible, contingent with District/Candidate coordination.  The position will remain open until filled.
