Assistant Superintendent
Interested applicants must have or can obtain a superintendent certificate and have successful school or district leadership experience.
- The selected candidate must reside in the Norris School District
- Salary will be determined based on the candidates experience and education level
The Assistant Superintendent will collaboratively work with district and building administrators and teachers to implement the district vision, mission, and goals; promote a culture for teaching and learning; manage fiscal and human resources to maximize impact on student achievement; foster relationships with staff, parents, and community.

Coordinate staff selection process
- Nurses, custodians, Bus Drivers, gen. ed. paras
- Coordinate online training for staff
- Staff background checks
Building Support
- Attend and participate in District MTSS and Continuous Improvement Committee Meetings
- Co-Facilitate the District Student Support Committee
- Facilitate weekly administrator meetings and support as needed
- Long-Term Suspension / Expulsion support
Operations
- Supervision of Transportation Director and overall program oversight

Supervision of Mechanical Technician and overall building maintenance and plant operations

Supervision of Grounds Director and overall program oversight

Work closely with architects, contractors, and job foreman on building matters

Solicitation of out of school personnel, companies, or contractors

Developed RFQ/RFP

Knowledge of building and ground maintenance

Assist district staff with facility and grounds projects and bidding procedures.

Supervises risk management program.

Administers district’s property and casualty insurance programs
- Food Service – SFA, Monthly Monitoring Meetings; SFA Contract
