Sioux County Public Schools seeks applications for the position of Superintendent of Schools. The District is located in Harrison in Northwest Nebraska, with a PK-12 enrollment of 88 students. The District has quality students with strong academics and test scores; pride and support from the community; a caring faculty with a low student-teacher ratio and strong work ethic; financial stability and updated infrastructure; and a strong Board of Education.
The Superintendent of Schools provides leadership and supervision to the faculty, staff, and students of a Nebraska school district in accordance with the policies and directives of the district’s Board of Education. Candidates must possess or be able to acquire by the opening date of the position, a Nebraska Administrative and Supervisory Certificate endorsed fully or provisionally for the PK-12 Superintendency. An Educational Specialist degree, Doctorate in Educational Administration, or an equivalent credential approved by the Nebraska Department of Education is required for this position.
