7-12 Special Education Teacher
Silver Lake Public Public School District is seeking applications for the position of Special Education Teacher (grades 7-12) for the 2026-2027 school year. A valid Nebraska teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement is required for this position.
Our 7-12 facility is located in Roseland: seventeen miles southwest of Hastings and forty-three miles southeast of Kearney. Our PK-6 facility is 12 miles southwest in Bladen.
We are a one to one district with Macbooks for all 3-12 students with K-2 students using I-Pads. We have communities that are extremely supportive of education and an excellent board of education to work with. Silver Lake Schools has an outstanding staff, amazing teachers and respectful students.

Base salary for the 2026-2027 school year is $41,200 with a great insurance plan.
Successful candidate will begin serving in this role in August of 2026.
Sponsorships and coaching are available, but not required with this position.
