Shelton Public Schools seeks applications for the position of Superintendent of School. The District is located in Shelton in South Central Nebraska, with a PK-12 enrollment of 275 students. The District has an outstanding location in the middle of the tri-cities area; is a family oriented community and school with a genuine interest in the success of every student.
The Superintendent of Schools provides leadership and supervision to the faculty, staff, and students of a Nebraska school district in accordance with the policies and directives of the district’s Board of Education. Candidates must possess or be able to acquire by the opening date of the position, a Nebraska Administrative and Supervisory Certificate endorsed fully or provisionally for the PK-12 Superintendency. An Educational Specialist degree, Doctorate in Educational Administration, or an equivalent credential approved by the Nebraska Department of Education is required for this position.
