High School Social Studies Teacher

Shelby-Rising City Schools is looking for a High School Social Studies Teacher starting with the 2019-2020 school year.  The District is located in east central Nebraska near Columbus and within an hour of both Omaha and Lincoln. A Class C District with new facilities constructed in 2017 boasts a strong instructional staff committed to the Marzano Instructional Model, PLC’s, and the 1-to-1 Digital Device project.

The District will place the hired applicant on the salary schedule with all years of experience and education.  Certified Employees (and family) received full health and dental benefits and 100% of the premium of the insurance is paid by the District.  Next year’s base salary will be $36,000.

Extra Duty positions are available, including: Head HS Track Coach, Assistant HS Track Coach, Assistant Football, and Co-Junior Class Sponsor.  Other positions may be open so please inquire about your interests.
