Coaching Opportunities (Assistant Varsity Boy Basketball) for the 24-25 school year

Shelby-Rising City Public Schools is currently accepting applications for coaching opportunities for Boy’s Assistant Basketball Coach. SRC is a progressive, growing district of nearly 410 students that boasts strong community support and excellent facilities.  We pride ourselves on our mission statement of providing a quality education through innovation, integrity, accountability and service. We host our SRC Basketball League from January through February for 3rd-6th grade students (both boys & girls) which we feature 60+ teams and are part of the CRC conference for volleyball/track. Positions available at the school include Elementary Teacher, Elementary School Counselor, Paraprofessional, Bus Driver and/or Custodial/Maintenance. Outside of education applications will also be considered.

 

Duties include: Set Vision, Goals and Standards for Sport Program, Engage in and Support Ethical Practices, Build Relationships, Develop a Safe Sport Environment, Create a Positive and Inclusive Sport Environment, Conduct Practices and Prepare for Competition, and Strive for Continuous Improvement

 

We are a 1:1 Digital Device school with Chromebooks for 5-12, Ipads for K-4 and continues to support progressive and innovative teaching practices.  Teachers are provided a MacBook Air Laptop and ample instructional resources in the classroom.  We are double tracked through our PK-5 and each classroom ranges from 14-18 students in each. We have a strong community support, a growing economic area, and steady enrollment.  The new school facilities were completed in 2017.
