6-12 Instrumental and Vocal Teacher (Full or Part Time)

Shelby-Rising City Public Schools is currently accepting applications for our 6-12 Instrumental & Vocal teacher position for the 2022-2023 school year. Coaching and Extra Duty assignments available (assistant coaching opportunities) preferred but not required. SRC is a progressive, growing district of nearly 400 students that boasts strong community support and excellent facilities.  We pride ourselves on our mission statement of providing a quality education through innovation, integrity, accountability and service.


If Part-Time, we are looking at a HS Band, HS Choir, MS Band and MS Vocal in some fashion (open to preference).


The District offers paid family health/dental insurance and flexible leave.  We are a 1:1 Digital Device school with Chromebooks for 5-12, Ipads for K-4 and continues to support progressive and innovative teaching practices.  Teachers are provided a MacBook Air Laptop and ample instructional resources in the classroom.  We are double tracked through our PK-5 and each classroom ranges from 14-18 students in each.
