K-12 Special Education Teacher — Life Skills Teacher
The position will provide instruction within a public school setting to students in Kindergarten to through 21 years of age with cognitive and development disabilities. The needs of these students require a functional curriculum focused on the acquisition of daily living and vocational skills leading to a successful transition to adult life within the community.
Extra-Duty assignments available but not required for Assistant Volleyball, Assistant Softball, and Assistant Girls Wrestling
SSCS offers a competitive salary with a benefit package that includes health insurance coverage up to full family. New teachers to the system may be allowed all of their previous teaching experience when their placement on the salary schedule is determined.
