Position Overview

The 7–12 Special Education Teacher will serve students with a variety of needs through:

  • Implementing high-quality instruction aligned to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

  • Collaborating with general education teachers to support inclusive practices

  • Providing accommodations, modifications, progress monitoring, and evidence-based interventions

  • Leading or participating in MDT meetings, IEP development, and compliance with Nebraska Rule 51

  • Building strong relationships with students, families, and staff

  • Supporting our district’s core value: STUDENTS FIRST
