Superintendent – Sandy Creek Public Schools

Sandy Creek Public Schools seeks applications for the position of Superintendent of the Schools. The District is located in Fairfield in Southeast Nebraska, with a PK-12 enrollment of 506 students. The District has a tradition of excellence both in the classroom and extra curricular activities; a strong financial history with uniquely beautiful and functional facilities; the NCAPS program focusing on career exposure and college readiness; and talented faculty and staff.

The Superintendent of Schools provides leadership and supervision to the faculty, staff, and students of a Nebraska school district in accordance with the policies and directives of the district’s Board of Education.  Candidates must possess or be able to acquire by the opening date of the position, a Nebraska Administrative and Supervisory Certificate endorsed fully or provisionally for the PK-12 Superintendency.   An Educational Specialist degree, Doctorate in Educational Administration, or an equivalent credential approved by the Nebraska Department of Education is required for this position.
