K-6 Title 1 teacher and reading/math interventionist
Riverside Public School is accepting applications for a K-6 Title 1 teacher and reading and math interventionist for the 2022-2023 school year. This position entails reading and math invention work and instructional coach. The role is to enhance instructional and assessment practices at the classroom level. RPS is a school-wide Title 1 Program and is a very progressive district located in central Nebraska. We house campuses in two communities. Both Spalding and Cedar Rapids facilities house PK-5 students. Spalding is also home to all 6-8 middle-grade students, while the district’s 9-12 students all attend at the Cedar Rapids site. All 6-12 students are 1:1 with Chromebooks and the district promotes 21st Century learning through technology integration. The district has a rich tradition of academic excellence, a tradition of high test scores, and extracurricular excellence with strong parent support, community involvement, and commitment to professional growth. Applicants should possess or be eligible for a valid Nebraska teachers certificate.
Salary is dependent upon experience and education. Riverside does take all years of prior experience.
