High School Social Science Teacher

Riverside Public School is accepting applications for a high school social studies teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. The positions will have coaching available as well as possible activities director responsibilites.   The base salary for the 2021-2022 school year is $36,650 with a salary schedule on a 4×5 index. Salary is dependent upon experience and education. We recognize all prior years of teaching experiences. Benefits include retirement, full family health, single dental insurance, professional and personal leave. Applicants should possess a valid Nebraska teaching certificate.

Riverside is a very progressive district located in central Nebraska. We house campuses in two communities.  Both Spalding and Cedar Rapids facilities house PK-5 students.  Spalding is also home to all 6-8 middle-grade students, while the district’s 9-12 students all attend at the Cedar Rapids Site.  All 6-12 students are 1:1 with Apple Laptops and/or Chromebooks and the district promotes 21st Century learning through technology integration. The district has a rich tradition of academic excellence, high test scores, and extracurricular excellence with strong parent support, community involvement, and commitment to professional growth.
