Sign language interpreter
Under the general supervision of the building principal, to facilitate communication between students with hearing impairments and their hearing peers, the classroom teacher, and other personnel in the school system. Interpreting responsibilities may include tutoring, notetaking, and participation in meetings as a member of the educational team.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate competency in manual communication as defined by the Nebraska Department of Education, Rule 51. Preference will be given to candidates who have earned a score of 4.0 or higher on the EIPA assessment.
