K-6 ELL teacher
Due to a medical leave of absence, the Ralston Public Schools has an immediate opening for a K-6 ELL teacher.
ELL teachers facilitate student understanding of the English language, successfully interact and instruct students from a variety of different cultures, adapt curriculum to meet the needs of students with a range of English language abilities, and work collaboratively with parents, students, teachers, and other district personnel to promote a student’s proficiency with all four components (listening, reading, writing, and speaking) of the English language.
This is a full-time position for the 2022-2023 school year with a start date mutually agreed upon by the district and the successful candidate.
The successful candidate must possess, or be eligible for, a Nebraska teaching certificate with an endorsement in K-6 or K-12 (preferred) English as a Second Language.
