High school family consumer science teacher
Under the general supervision of the building principal, to develop students’ knowledge and understanding of the relationship between individuals, families, communities, and the environment in which they live. Family and Consumer Science teachers are responsible for instructing students in areas such as family economics and resource management, nutrition, food preparation, human health and wellness, textiles, or other related subjects.
There are two, full time FCS openings for the 2021-2022 school year:
- Opening #1: Emphasis in the culinary arts
- Opening #2: Emphasis in child development, human behavior, interior design, or textiles.
Both positions have a start date of August, 2021.
The successful candidate must possess, or be eligible for, a Nebraska teaching certificate with an endorsement in 7-12 family consumer science.
