Deaf / Hard of Hearing itinerant teacher
Under the general supervision of the school principal, to facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills by implementing the district’s approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of individual students; creating a flexible, safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents, and administration regarding student progress, expectations, and goals for students who are deaf or hard of hearing as required by the student’s Individual Education Plan (IEP).

This is a full-time position for the 2023-2024 school year with a start date of August 1st, 2023.
The successful candidate must possess, or be eligible for, a Nebraska teaching certificate with an endorsement in Special Education Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
