Science Teacher

Quest Forward High School, a cutting-edge private school in West Central Omaha, is looking to add a Science teacher for the 24/25 school year.  Our student-focused, project-based model takes place in a small class environment.  Our skills-based approach to work requires students to produce projects that demonstrate mastery; allowing teachers to focus on and create a deep learning, problem-solving curriculum. • Certification to teach Science  grades 9-12 or grades  5-9.

• Facility and comfort with technology

• Willingness to experiment and try new methods/approaches

• Previous experience, especially in project-based, innovative settings, is helpful but not required

• Interests in coding, robotics and esports can be explored

• Likely Biology or Chemistry, but all endorsements considered

• Special consideration for Dual Credit eligibility 

Candidates with experience or training in more than one subject and an ability to teach in multiple subjects are highly desirable. Applicants should hold, or be able to obtain, a Nebraska teaching certificate.
