Cafeteria Assistant

Pope John XXIII Central Catholic School of ELGIN, NE is searching for a CAFETERIA ASSISTANT in our school lunchroom / food service department.  This position is currently part-time, but we will consider full-time applicants.
Duties Include:
  • Prepare, cook & serve food
  • Ensure food meets nutritional requirements with help of cafeteria manager
  • Clean and maintain the cafeteria
  • Some lifting is required.

*Elgin, NE is located about 45 miles west of Norfolk and 50 miles north-west of Columbus.  We are a small, rural community that would love to work with you as a member of our team, serving the needs of our students!

Additional Information

Hours:  8:00-1:30/2:00, about 28 hours a week.  *Full time applicants will be considered!
Pay:  Negotiable – we want to work with you!
