Secondary Social Studies Teacher
Pender Public School District is seeking applications for a 7th-12th Grade Social Studies Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Coaching opportunities available, but not required, include head football coach, assistant wrestling coach, and JH coaching. We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic secondary teacher with the desire to teach in a positive, student-centered environment. A successful candidate would also be energetic, professional, and comfortable in an environment with high expectations for students and staff.
An individual with a valid teacher’s certificate or the ability to obtain one is required. Any and all endorsements can and will be considered. Teachers hired in endorsed areas are given all years of experience as allowed on the salary schedule. The school system is a P-12 district (NSAA Class C-2) with approximately 445 students and is located in Northeast Nebraska about 45 minutes from Sioux City, Iowa and 70 minutes from Omaha, Nebraska.
