Agriculture Education Teacher and FFA Advisor
The Pender Public School District is seeking a dynamic individual to fulfill the role of Agriculture Education Teacher and FFA Advisor for the 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidate will maintain and advance the reputable and successful Ag Ed and FFA programs. Spacious facilities include welding, small engines, woods, aquaculture, range, and horticulture lab areas. The Pender FFA Chapter is well-established in Leadership and Career Development Events. It supports many strong and competitive Supervised Agricultural Experience programs, it boasts strong relationships with the community and area agribusiness, and it operates with a very supportive FFA Alumni organization. A highly motivated teacher with the desire to teach in a positive, student-centered environment is desired. A valid teacher’s certificate with appropriate endorsement is required for the position. Teachers hired in endorsed areas are given all years of experience as allowed on the salary schedule. Candidates interested in extracurricular activities will be considered for an assignment. The school system is a P-12 district (Class C-2/D-1) with approximately 420 students and is located in Northeast Nebraska.
