K-12 Guidance Counselor
Medicine Valley Public Schools is accepting applications for a K-12 Counselor. Curtis is a community of 800 located in Southwest Nebraska with a total PK-12 enrollment of 210 with an average class size of 12-18. Medicine Valley has a caring and engaged staff and a supportive community. We are seeking individuals to join our team who are dedicated to fostering student success in academics, who support student social-emotional growth, and have the capacity to build connections with students, staff, and parents in a positive and professional manner.

Candidates must hold or be eligible to acquire a Nebraska Teaching Certificate or provisional certification in the endorsed area specific to the position by August 1, 2024. Base salary for 2024-25 is $37,500. The district pays 100% of the premium for individual or full-family health insurance. This position starts on or about August 1 and includes a 185-day contract with extended days before and after the school year. Coaching and sponsorships are available.
