Music Teacher

Osceola Public Schools is accepting applications for a Music Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.  The District’s Music program is progressive with great community support and looking for an innovative/energetic individual to enhance our students’ love of music.  A huge positive is that the program has its own Boosters that handle fund raising.  Osceola Public Schools is a district of about 240 students K-12, located between York and Columbus and within about an hour or less drive to Omaha, Lincoln, Grand Island, and Hastings.

This position can look several different ways depending on the candidate that is applying.  Ideally, it would be K-12 position, but we are open to options such as K-8, or 6-12.  The position could be vocal, instrumental, or both.  The decision about what the specifics of the position entails will depend on the abilities of the candidate and the vision of the program moving forward.

Opportunities for extra duties exist but are not necessarily required.  We have openings at the high school and middle school levels.
