K-12 Music Teacher
Osceola Public Schools is accepting applications for a K-12 Music teacher for the 2019-20 school year. The District’s Music program is progressive with great community support and looking for an innovative/energetic individual to enhance our student’s love of music. Osceola Public schools is a district of about 217 students K-12, located between York and Columbus and with about an hour or less drive to Omaha, Lincoln, Grand Island and Hastings. Successful candidate will be teaching elementary music 3 periods of the day with the remaining 5 periods spent with Middle School and High School Band and Chorus. Additional coaching opportunities available, but not required.
Osceola’s 2019-20 base salary is $36,000 on a 4% x 4.5% salary schedule with benefits of $1050 deductible or /$3500 deductible Health Savings Act dual option BC/BS insurance, single dental, up to 45 days sick leave, up to 3 days personal leave. The district also offers teacher tuition reimbursement for those wanting to improve their educational training. The official reporting date for staff is August 12th 2019 with some orientation days the week prior to that.
