7-12 English Language Arts Teacher
Due to retirement Osceola Public Schools is accepting applications for a 7-12 Language Arts teacher for the 2020-21 school year. Assignments would most likely be High School ELA, however other possibilities exist depending on candidates qualifications. Involvement in the District’s Drama and One Act programs is also possible as well as other coaching and activity sponsorships are available, but not required. Osceola is located an hour or less from Omaha, Lincoln, Grand Island, right between Columbus and York on Highway 92. Osceola is a progressive community, known for good academic performance and community support and is looking for an innovative/energetic individual to nurture a student’s love of learning.

Osceola has a current base of $37,100 with full BC/BS insurance with choice of $1,200 deductible or $3,600 deductible HSA (Health Savings Account). Extra Duty assignments are based on percentage of the base. Other benefits include 10 sick days/year, (accumulative to 45), 125 Flex plan, and tuition reimbursement program. Start date will be early August 2020.
