Behavior Specialist
O’Neill Public Schools is exploring hiring a Behavior Specialist for the 2025-2026 school year. O’Neill Public Schools is big enough to serve you and small enough to care. O’Neill is located in Northeast Nebraska and is a C1 school. O’Neill Public Schools is a great workplace with a supportive administration and a team-focused culture. The ideal candidate will preferably have a masters in the field of behavior and be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, but this is not required. Creativity and flexibility are a must. The duties may include:
Conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments and creating Behavioral Intervention Plans
Providing consulting and coaching for staff to address behavior issues
Instructing special education students on social skills as part of the IEP plan on a weekly basis
Referral of families to outside resources
Possibly providing MANDT training and other staff training
