Elementary Special Education

Wayne Community Schools, a progressive pK-12th grade school district in Northeast Nebraska, is currently seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Elementary Special Education teacher.  The candidate would work with a team of special educators to provide services to special education students, work with paraprofessionals, organize, coordinate and manage IEP’s, communicate with staff, administration, and parents, and work with multiple agencies outside of the school system to best meet the needs of all students. The average caseload size is 15-20 students.

Additional Information

Base salary is $40,100 for the 2024-25 school year and is a part of a comprehensive, extensive, and competitive salary and benefit package.  Start date is on or about August 8th.

Applicants must hold a Nebraska teaching certificate or have eligibility to meet requirements to obtain certification.
