Nebraska Christian Classical Academy is looking for an Academy Director who claims their faith to be in Jesus Christ. If you are a person who would love to lead and guide the efforts for a classical academy, this may be a fit for you. We are a hybrid school partnering with parents (and the church) to provide a Christian education. This person will help lead the Monday and Wednesdays (65 days) “in session” days by helping to plan and prepare on Tuesdays & Thursdays (78 days). Additionally, this amazing group of believers is a delight to be a part of. Teaching and other duties will be customized to fit the needs of the school and strengths of the individual.

Responsibilities

  •  Prepare for and teach a class two days a week in the K-8 school.

  • Oversee academic processes to maintain excellence.

  • Provide discipline and counseling to students, aiming for heart change and growth in Christ.

  • Ensure accountability and a positive, godly environment.

  • Oversee scope and sequence in coordination with the Curriculum Team

  • Lead in setting educational objectives, curricular choices, and teacher development.

  • Review lesson plans and ensure adherence to Classical pedagogy.

  • Build and guide a team of passionate educators.

  • Conduct teacher evaluations twice yearly, providing constructive feedback.

  • Oversee hiring, contracts, and personnel accountability.

  • Represent the school to prospective families and ensure alignment with the school’s mission.
