 J. Sterling Morton Magnet Middle is in the heart of a diverse neighborhood in Northwest Omaha. It serves a diverse population of 6th through 8th grades. Morton is currently in the midst of a 13 room addition and renovation to make it a state of the art building.  Our teachers are committed to growth and we pride ourselves on our warm and caring environment where students flourish academically and emotionally.  Our mission is to engage all students in educational experiences that prepare them to excel in college, career, and life in our ever-changing global society.

 

The principal is the instructional leader of the school.  OPS seeks excellent leaders who can prepare all students for college, career, and community leadership.
