Morrill is halfway between Scottsbluff, NE and Torrington, WY; nestled just north of the Wildcat Hills we are close to amazing outdoor activities in 4 different states. Morrill is growing, both the school and the town. We have had 4 years of consecutive enrollment growth with business growth as well. The school operates a quality birth to preschool center, making early childhood care available for all our staff and community members.
The early childhood teacher will up to 17 students and a partner para in the classroom. Our facility is two years old, designed for early childhood. We are approved by NDE’s Rule 11, we partner with the panhandle Head Start through ESU 13, we partner with DHHS allowing families who qualify for subsidy to send their children to the Tri Community Preschool.
We desire to hire a certified teacher with an endorsement in Early Childhood Education; a teacher who loves developing the character, mindset and perspective of today’s youth to prepare them for their future; a warm, nurturing, passionate individual capable to prepare children for kindergarten while fostering a strong sense of creativity, wonder, and individuality.
New Teacher Orientation is August 9, 2019 followed by two days of all staff in-service. School starts on August 14 with a couple days of relational building activities aimed at building excitement and engagement among the students and between students and staff. We value relationship building with students.
Starting salary will not be less than $33,000, plus we pay each teacher an $11,500 fringe benefit stipend, and pay 1/2 the premium of Blue Cross Blue Shield medical and dental insurance.
Morrill’s Tri Community Preschool offers its staff a rich environment of professional development, partnering with Panhandle Early Learning Connection Partnership, Head Start and DHHS to provide necessary and effective trainings.
