Mitchell Public Schools Seeks Special Services Director


Mitchell Public Schools is now accepting applications for a Special Services Director position for the 2024-2025 School Year.  This position is an administrative position with leadership responsibilities including the Special Education and Preschool programs.  Additional responsibilities may be based on the selected candidate’s strengths.  Mitchell Public Schools seeks a leader who is passionate about providing high quality education for all students. 

Specific duties include leadership and supervision of staff members in the Preschool and Special Education departments, involvement in the hiring process, communications with stakeholders, and paperwork/submissions for local, state and federal agencies as required.  MPS is seeking an individual who is a good team player and will provide strong leadership and advocacy for students.

Additional Information

Salary will be competitive in nature and based on an administrator’s salary, including up to full family insurance coverage.  This is an 11-month contract beginning on August 1st and running through June 30th.
