Varsity Volleyball Coach

Mercy High School is seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Head Volleyball Coach to lead our team to new heights! We are looking for a dynamic leader who can inspire and develop student-athletes both on and off the court, fostering a positive team environment and commitment to excellence.

 Position Details:

– Job Title: Head Volleyball Coach

– Location: Mercy High School

– Start Date: Immediate

 Key Responsibilities:

– Plan and execute effective practice sessions that focus on skill development, teamwork, and strategy

– Lead the team in competitions, providing positive guidance and in-game adjustments

– Develop and implement strength and conditioning programs

– Maintain open communication with students, parents, and school administration

– Uphold and promote values of sportsmanship, respect, and integrity

– Oversee offseason conditioning for student athletes 

– Manage specific events – Open House, Summer Camps, Etc. 

 Qualifications:

– Previous volleyball coaching experience (high school coaching experience preferred)

– Strong understanding of volleyball techniques, strategies, and rules

– Excellent organizational and communication skills
