PE Teacher Half-Time/Half-Time Para
Due to retirement, Mead Public Schools has a potential opening for a part-time, 7-12 Physical Education Teacher. The position may be up to 0.5 FTE, and the position can be paired with a part-time para position that is prioritized for Special Education. Teachers who also have an endorsement in science would be an ideal fit for this position. Teachers with only an endorsement in science and a background in athletics, coaching, or strength training will also be considered. Head Football coaching is available.

Mead offers a competitive base salary of $39,000 and provides health insurance for faculty. Health insurance costs are covered at the FTE rate for part-time teachers; the teacher is responsible for the remainder of the premium. Up to 13 years of experience are accepted when determining salary schedule placement. Applicants must hold or be on schedule to obtain a Nebraska Teaching Certificate.
