The Southern School District School Board, Wymore, Nebraska, is seeking a highly qualified Superintendent to lead the district and support its mission of ensuring success for all students. 

McPherson & Jacobson, L.L.C., Executive Recruitment and Development are engaged as consultants in a search for outstanding candidates. They will assist the School Board in identifying and screening the candidates.

Enrollment: 375 students

Location: Wymore, Nebraska  – 56 miles south of Lincoln

Salary: Regionally competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications

●       Exhibits strong fiscal management skills, including proactive budgeting, resource planning, and clear communication throughout financial processes to ensure responsible stewardship.

Collaborative Decision Making

·         Builds strong partnerships with staff, the Board of Education, families, and the broader community, fostering a collaborative and inclusive approach to strategic planning and decision-making.

• School Board selects finalists to interview: December 17, 2025     
• Finalists’ Interviews with the School Board: January 5-6, 2026
• Selection of new Superintendent: January 12, 2026
