6th-8th Grade Guidance Counselor

McCook Public Schools is looking for a Junior High School Guidance Counselor for the 2026/2027 School Year for grades 6 -8.  A current Nebraska Teaching Certificate with a Counseling endorsement, or provisional endorsement, is required.  Questions about this position can be directed to Junior High Principal, Mr. Chad Lyons at clyons@mccookbison.org or 308-344-4400 x 2.

  • Teacher Signing Bonus Available!
    • A new teacher that is certified to teach in the assigned areas PK-12 will receive a signing bonus of $2,000 each year for the first three consecutive years for a total signing bonus of $6,000 (see Negotiated Agreement Addendum 2025).
