Intermediate Grade Teacher

Mary Our Queen Catholic School,, a PreK-8, Cognia-accredited school, seeks a qualified teacher for the 2025-26 school year.  MOQ is a faith-filled and dynamic school, dedicated to forming students of faith and academic excellence.

–The teacher will:
-Create a nurturing and supportive classroom environment where all students feel safe, welcome and valued
-Plan and implement effective teaching with research-based pedagogy
-Utilize a variety of assessments and use data in the classroom to develop lessons and instructional activities
-Effectively collaborate with grade-level team
-Communicate with parents and school staff on student progress
-Integrate the Catholic faith into all subjects and school environment
-Establish clear behavioral expectations and maintain consistent routines and procedures

–Proficiency in teaching reading comprehension, fluency, and writing skills, with an emphasis on developing students’ ability to analyze texts and express themselves clearly in writing.
-A strong understanding of writing conventions, such as grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure.
