President – Marian High  School

Marian High School in Omaha, Nebraska, is seeking the next president of the school.  The position starts June 1, 2022. 

Founded by the Servants of Mary in 1955, Marian is a Catholic, all-girls college preparatory school with three U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon Schools awards. Marian empowers students to discover and develop their talents and inspires them to lead and serve as women of faith and compassion. 

Marian operates in the President/Principal Model. In collaboration with the Servants of Mary, the board of directors, and the principal, Marian’s president provides the vision for long-term strategic planning and goals, leads fundraising activities and recruitment strategies, and demonstrates spiritual leadership to the institution. The next president will have a strong and talented team in place that is energized to collaborate with new leadership. The school boasts an impressive facility (with a 40-acre campus) and a recent, stunning renovation of the interior of the school; a strong and growing endowment; and an exciting new development campaign for outdoor athletic facilities. 

Applicants for this extraordinary opportunity will need to be a practicing Catholic with a full commitment to the mission of Catholic schools and all-girls education. The board welcomes candidates who are proven executives from a variety of careers such as higher education, non-profit foundations and organizations, or corporate and business careers. While knowledge of education and school operations is preferred, other talents and experiences are also greatly valued, especially visionary, vibrant leadership and the ability to inspire, lead a high performing team, and effectively communicate the value of Marian’s mission to benefactors and families seeking high school for their daughters.
