Librarian/Media Specialist

The applicant must provide an engaging learning environment in our school library teaching students in grades K-12, library and reading skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure that all Library/Media standards are being met for each grade level.
- Responsible for library/media instruction and supervision for students in K-12.
- Manage and organize library resources
- Assist students on classroom project research (as needed).
- Create and distribute an annual Year Book.

- Be comfortable with technology and troubleshooting
- Love to work with students
- Being a team player and flexible
- Understand the workings of a library
- Work collaboratively with teachers by providing expert advice on improving and enhancing reading.
- Use technology to promote learning, creativity, and in collaboration.
Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Education (preferred)
– Willing to pursue a Library Media Specialist degree
