K-12 Art Teacher

Loomis Public Schools is seeking a K–12 Art Teacher who is committed to excellence in education and dedicated to fostering creativity and artistic growth in students at all grade levels. The ideal candidate will build a positive, engaging classroom environment that supports hands-on, developmentally appropriate instruction for students ranging from kindergarten through high school.

A successful candidate will demonstrate strong instructional and classroom management skills, effective communication, and a solid understanding of K–12 art curriculum and assessment practices. The candidate should use assessment to guide instruction, provide meaningful feedback to all learners, and support students in developing their artistic skills, creativity, and confidence.

We are looking for an educator who builds strong relationships with students of all ages, is committed to ongoing professional growth, and values cultural proficiency when working with students, staff, and families. A willingness to collaborate and actively participate in the school community is essential.

Head football, head track and prom sponsor are available, but not required.
