Loomis Public Schools is seeking a dynamic, student-centered educator to join our outstanding team as a 4th Grade Teacher. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching, committed to student success, and eager to build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.

Position Overview:
The 4th Grade Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging instruction aligned with Nebraska State Standards, fostering a positive classroom environment, and supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students. Class sizes are anticipated to be small, allowing for meaningful instruction and strong student-teacher relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality instruction in core content areas, including English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies

• Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment

• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners

• Use formative and summative assessments to guide instruction

• Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and support staff

• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians

• Support school-wide initiatives and maintain a commitment to continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Valid Nebraska teaching certificate (or ability to obtain)

• Elementary education endorsement preferred

• Strong classroom management and instructional skills

• Commitment to building positive relationships with students and families

• Willingness to collaborate and contribute to a team-oriented environment
