Business/Technology Instructor
Loomis Public School District is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Business/Technology Instructor for the 2026–2027 school year. Loomis Public Schools serves approximately 267 students and is located seven miles west of Holdrege, Nebraska, and 40 minutes southwest of Kearney, Nebraska.
Loomis Public Schools competes at the Class D level for NSAA activities and athletics and is a member of the Fort Kearney Conference.

Loomis Public Schools offers a 2025–2026 base salary of $40,100. The position is a 184-day contract beginning in mid-August 2026 and includes fully paid Blue Cross Blue Shield family health insurance ($1,050/$3,800 deductible) and single dental insurance. The district also provides certificated staff with twelve (12) days of paid time off (PTO) annually. All prior years of teaching experience are fully accepted on the salary schedule.
The successful candidate must hold a valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate and possess, or be eligible to obtain, a Business, Marketing, or Information Technology endorsement as required by the Nebraska Department of Education (NDE). Applicants who are currently pursuing or interested in an alternative or transitional education permit are encouraged to apply, and the district will support the selected candidate throughout this process.
Coaching and activity sponsorship opportunities are available but not required. Current openings include Head Football, Head Track, Head One-Act, and various other extracurricular positions.
