Lindsay Academy is a non-public Junior/Senior High School located in Lindsay, NE. seeking a 7-12 Guidance Counselor starting with the 2025-26 school year. All years of experience are accepted; extra duty and coaching is available for those interested. Primary focus of guidance counselor in Lindsay will be to work with students to develop individualized college and career plans. Networking with local businesses and colleges to provide job shadowing and work study opportunities. Collaborating with administration and teachers at Lindsay Academy to offer courses in high demand areas aligned with student interests.

Lindsay Academy is a new faith-based school dedicated to providing students with a nurturing environment for academic achievement and spiritual growth to flourish hand in hand.  Locally managed, Lindsay Academy does not fall under any other entity and is free of outside influence from organizations who do not understand the blessings and needs for rural education. Educators will have the unique opportunity to build upon the rich history of Lindsay and develop a competitive option for families in the region.

 Brand new school facilities just opened in December 2024 and construction of new gym and fitness center (weight room) is underway. The main gymnasium, indoor walking track and weight room will be complete August 2025 with an auxiliary gym that will serve as a multi-purpose space with stage and other features will be completed December 2025.
