High School Cheer Coach

Lincoln Lutheran is seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and student-centered High School Cheer Coach to lead and develop our cheer program. The coach will foster school spirit, teamwork, and character while promoting a positive, Christ-centered environment that supports the mission of the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and lead cheer practices, games, and performances

  • Teach cheer techniques, routines, and fundamentals with an emphasis on safety

  • Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership among student-athletes

  • Supervise students during practices, events, and travel as required

  • Collaborate with athletic administration, faculty, and other coaches

  • Communicate effectively with students and parents

  • Ensure compliance with school, conference, and activity association guidelines

Qualifications

  • Previous cheer coaching or cheerleading experience preferred

  • Ability to work positively with high school students

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

  • Commitment to student development both on and off the field

  • Willingness to support and uphold the mission and values of [School Name]

  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
