High School Principal (7-12)

Kenesaw Public Schools is accepting applications for qualified candidates for the position of High School Principal (7-12) for the 2024-2025 School Year.  The successful candidate should possess strong communication skills, reflect a collaborative leadership style, understand how to use data to augment student learning, and provide support for teachers with instruction, assessment, and curriculum.  We have excellent teachers and staff members with a rich history of academic achievement and success.  If you are a positive person and team player, have a passion for leadership, and enjoy collaborating with others to make sound district decisions, please consider applying for our 7-12 High School Principal position.

The village of Kenesaw is located in the middle of the Tri-city area of Kearney (33 miles), Grand Island (37 miles), and Hastings (16 miles).  Our community members strongly support our students in academics, activities, and financially.  Our 7-12 student enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year is 135 students with a total enrollment for the district of approximately 280 students.

A Master’s Degree in Educational Administration is required.  Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain a Nebraska Department of Education Administrative Certificate with a 7-12 Principal endorsement.  A competitive salary with benefits will be offered based on experience and qualifications.
