7-12 English Language Arts Teacher: Due to retirement, Leigh Community Schools has an opening for the 2026-2027 school year. Leigh is located along Highway 91 approximately 30 miles from Columbus and Norfolk. A new Jr/Sr High School was built onto an existing Elementary building in 2020, creating a PK-12 facility in 2020. Leigh Jr/Sr High School is 1:1 with instructional technology. The district has a growing enrollment and currently has 311 students enrolled in PK-12. Leigh Community Schools is a progressive district with outstanding students, dedicated staff, and excellent facilities.
Applicants should possess, or be able to obtain, a valid Nebraska teaching certificate with appropriate endorsements. Sponsorships and coaching opportunities are available with this position.

Base salary for the 2025-2026 school year is $40,300 with negotiations for next school year in progress. Position will remain open until filled.
