Activities Director

Kimball Public Schools has an opening for an Activities Director for the 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidate will assume the Activities Director role for five (5) or six (6) periods of the work day and teach two (2) or three (3) class periods in his/her endorsed area. All endorsed areas, including administrative endorsements, will be considered for this position. Kimball Public Schools is a 1:1 chromebook school that operates on a four-day week with mostly Fridays off throughout the school year for staff and students. One day a month is utilized for staff professional development activities. This is a 1.0 FTE/ 162-day contract for this position that will begin in August 2025, and includes a 10-day extended contract as well as an extra duty stipend for the Activities Director position. Additional extra duty assignments may be available with this position.

Kimball Public Schools is located in Kimball, NE in the southern Panhandle where Nebraska meets Colorado and Wyoming. The district has a stable enrollment of approximately 400 PreK-12 students and is fully accredited by the state of Nebraska. Kimball boasts an 18-hole golf course, Oliver Reservoir, a movie theater, and multiple restaurants and downtown businesses among its many amenities. Located along Interstate 80, Kimball residents can be in the Front Range of Colorado in less than two hours and are less than an hours drive to the regional hubs of Cheyenne, WY and Scottsbluff.
