Band & Music Teacher: Pre K-12 (2023-2024)

Due to retirement, Kenesaw Public Schools is accepting applications for a K-12 Music/Band teacher.

The ideal candidate is motivated by professional excellence and holds/is eligible for an endorsement in K-12 Music. Additionally, this position provides an exciting and ideal opportunity for those interested in teaching all grade levels and content that includes theory, vocal, and instrumental music. 

Although not a requirement for the position, additional coaching and extra duty opportunities also exist for those interested. 

Kenesaw Public Schools is a Class D-sized school located in the central Nebraska Tri-City triangle. It is about 30 minutes from Kearney, Grand Island, or Hastings. Our community consistently provides great support and takes pride in our school and offers tremendous opportunities for our students.

Interested applicants must hold/be eligible for the appropriate endorsement(s)/certification(s) as required by NDE Rule 10.

The candidate must have a positive attitude, a desire to continue to improve their skills, and a willingness to contribute collaboratively in a Professional Learning Community. Knowledge and experience with Marzano’s Instructional Framework is highly desired.

The base salary for the 2023-2024 school year is $38,200. We offer full-family BCBS and single dental, tuition assistance, professional development opportunities, and paid membership to professional organizations.
